You are my best friend that will always be true.

In our ups and downs, we've been through.

I can't even explain it, I'm head over heels.

I love being your friend, and how great it feels.

There were times when we almost split apart,

My dear best friend that broke my heart.

But after a while we forgave and forgot,

Our friendship was saved and not left to rot.

I'm writing this poem to show that I care,

Each waking moment I know you are there.

Whenever you need me I'll be by your side,

I say that with love and I say that with pride.

We're like two peas in a pod and maybe a carrot,

We exchange hello just like a pet store parrot.

Every passing day and every passing hour,

Like best friends do we have unlimited power.
