If I had one Christmas wish

If I had one Christmas wish,

It’d be to go home this year.

And have all my favourite dish,

With my family and dear.

I would make time to sit at the table,

Discuss all my events with those I love;

Fold my hands and bow my head,

Giving thanks to them and the Father above.

I would decorate the Christmas tree,

And try to make the moments last.

I would dance and sing like a bee,

Connecting with members of family past.

I don’t want presents, I don’t want gifts,

If you meet the Santa, Let him know;

I just have one Christmas wish in the list,

I want to go home in this snow.
